Ups and Downs presents a series of taster dance classes in the upcoming months. ** Program January 9th ** __Love for blues with Earanee Niedzwiecki (AU/BE)__ A lover of Satchmo and Nat King Cole since childhood, it was the swingin’ tunes that drew Earanee to her first Lindy Hop class in her hometown of Adelaide, Australia. She soon began following her love of vernacular jazz dances around the globe, traveling & living in different cities across Australia, Europe and the US. At the end of the 20's the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem went wild: swing and jazz music formed the basis for a duo dance full of improvisation. Everything revolves around communicating with your partner.
