Urban Kiz & Douceur Bootcamp

𝗜𝗧'𝗦 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧 This course is for Kizomba dancers who are looking to improve their dance skills, learn new ways to spice their dance with confidence and style. Participants are required to have a good basic level of Kizomba (not beginners). Urban Kiz is a modern dance style rooted in Kizomba and Semba, influenced by Tango, Afro, Hip-Hop and more. Douceur is about connection with your dance partner through movement and music. Join us for a weekend full of new experiences that will take your Kizomba to the next level. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 Avinash often called Avi is a Dutch dancer who started dancing in 2016 and teaching with Mode Zero in 2017 sharing his love of Urban Kiz and Douceur with people all over the world, travelling and giving workshops on a regular basis. He and his team of dancers in Mode Zero are based in Rotterdam, a city full of dance and culture. Avi is known for his positive vibes and being an exceptional leader with both precision and softness. Known for his unique style, Avi has developed a deep connection with Douceur, an expressive and refined approach to dancing that embodies great connection skills, fluidity and sensitivity combined with precise technique. He is a versatile dancer who enjoys different styles, letting the music and mood guide his expression. We are excited to welcome him. 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 Kelvin is a dancer from Rotterdam, currently living in Reykjavik. He has been immersing himself in Urban Kiz for many years, initially drawn to the blend of structure and creativity within it. He is known for leading with technique and expression. Jeremie is a dancer from the Netherlands, although he has been dancing for 8 years, Urban Kiz is his main focus and passion lately. He is known for being approachable, modest and playful in his leading. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 Saturday - Urban Kiz Program 13:15 - 16:30 Urban Kiz fundamentals which will cover all the essential basics in leading & following principles and musicality. Saturday party 21:00 - 23:30 Sunday - Douceur Program 13:00 -16:00 (including 30 min practice at the end) Douceur essentials covering the importance of connection in the dance and the required techniques in order to level up.
