His special style of teaching is appreciated for its clarity and accessibility for both leaders and followers, and for it's fun and entertaining style. He has taught dance for over 15yrs and kizomba, semba and urban kiz over the last 10. Having trained with many of the 'old masters' and created his own style and approach, he has taught at over 100 events spanning dozens of cities. Including Paris kizomba Congress, Sweden kizomba festival, Montreal Kizo love, Shanghai kizomba, and many more. His style of dance combines a focus on self-grounding and creative moves with a playful and musical flexibility. He is equally comfortable dancing or teaching authentic kizomba and semba as well as advanced and technical urban kiz and fusion. 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫 is a versatile dancer who dances and performs from an early age. Her origins are related to styles such as Commercial and Hip-Hop, Jazz and Contemporary dance, and she has worked as a professional dancer in different parts of the world. Kriste has been dancing and teaching Salsa and Bachata since 2010. She believes in constant development and attends regularly different workshops, bootcamps and festivals to learn from top instructors such as Curtis&Carola, Sara Panero, Enah&Carolina, Pablo&Raquel, Amneris Martinez, Tanja&Adolfo, Juan Matos and many more.
