Urban Kiz with James H Pogue & Irene Lim

In collaboration with the Dance Collective, Cosmoves Dance is inviting you for 4 hours of open level Urban Kiz workshops that are not to be missed! At 9pm we will have social dancing till late, when you will get a chance to practice what you learned and of course dance with our guests!!! :) About your instructors: JAMES H. POGUE James has been dancing Urban Kiz since 2016. He has travelled all over the USA, to France, Italy, South America, Canada and most recently Japan, Korea and of course Singapore! He focuses on the connection thru synchronicity and technique between partners, helping deepen this connection. His hope is to teach lifts, tricks and fancy footwork as a way to add excitement, some dramatic flair and give dancers more tools to connect and have many more great moments on the dance floor! IRENE LIM Irene has been dancing Urban Kiz/Kizomba Fusion since 2015. After several years of dancing plus winning the Jack and Jill in February 2016 and Improvisation Competition in November 2016, she completed her Kizomba instructor course under Helio Santos in April 2017 and begun her teaching career. She had taught with overseas instructors such as Güpson Pierre, Azlan Ahmad Mckechnie, Mr. Taras, Helio Santos, James H. Pogue, Sadjy Sadjan and Florian Tep. Now, she is a Dance Director at TDC (The Dance Collective) Studio. Do not be fooled by her friendly and easy-going nature.
