UrbanKiz Tuesdays - October 2024

💥 Come level up your UrbanKiz💥 On Sept 10th and 24th, with your instructors Hovsep, Jordan, Mariah and Monica. There is a one hour Inter/Adv level class to deepen your understanding of Urban Kiz, followed by a one-hour social, to practice, socialize and have fun! 📅 When? Oct 8th & 22nd 🕰️ Schedule 8pm - 9pm: Inter/Adv level class* 9pm - 10pm: Social 📍Location: The Big Open Space Dance Studio, 3600A Telegraph Avenue, Oakland CA. NOTE: There is a strict NO STREET SHOES policy in the studio. Please bring socks or dance shoes. ✔ Requirements: ⚠️PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 📝 Inter/Adv class: * The class dives deep into different aspects of the dance: musicality, leading technique, follwing technique, connection, expression, styling, and much more. * To maintain the a high level during the class, we require students to know the basic moves of Urban (see a detailed list below). Your first time you will dance with a teacher that will let you know if you are ready to join us, and if not, what you need to work on before being able to fully benefit from the class. 🕺💃 Practica: you will dance with other students and teachers and we encourage people to ask for feedback. This is one of the best way to improve and understand what you might want to focus your learning on Basics required: - basics 1, 2, 3 - balance and touches - lead and follow saida - basic turns - basic crosses - basic leg lifts ------------------------------------------------------------------- 💵 Prices Class + Social: $15 Social: $10 Cash or Venmo(@jordylek).
