AfroCali Dançar and The KDA are proud to present to you this premiere UrbanKiz bootcamp with Audi MPK and Teresa Jimenez! Audi MPK recently won 1st place in the 2017 North American Olympiads of Kizomba competition and will soon be traveling to Paris to represent the USA for the world title! Before he goes he will be teaching an exclusive 3 hour UrbanKiz Bootcamp, Sat, May 20th; focused on connection, musicality & technique. Whether you are a beginner or a well seasoned dancer you will not want to miss the opportunity to learn from one of the hottest UrbanKiz instructors in the US. During this bootcamp you will receive, techniques to build a solid foundation or strengthen your existing one. You will learn how to really listen to the nuances of music to incorporate into your dance, while learning control, balance and moving effortlessly on the dance floor. Audi’s approach stresses individuality and expressing yourself through the music. He will give you many examples, techniques and show that even subtle changes can bring your dance to the next level. With 3 hours of instruction beginners and intermediate dancers will have the time to practice and perfect their movements, giving them the confidence to hit the socials and shine on the dance floor. Other areas that will be covered during the bootcamp: Feeling, Connection, Balance, Control, Techniques of leading & following Urbankiz, Musicality, Tarraxinha, Intermediate techniques, Advanced techniques Styling for leads & follows (based on participant level)... His unique musicality and dance approach has ranked Audi among one of the fastest growing Urban Kiz instructors in the Kizomba world. Now located in Dallas, Texas Audi's dedication to spread the knowledge and his love for Kizomba is undeniable. Participating in and creating multiple workshops across the states, Audi branded himself as Audi MPK which stands for (Musicality Personality Kizomba). Instructor BIO: Teresa Jimenez Teresa was born in Sweden, with roots from Cuba. She is an award winning international dancer. In 2014, Teresa and her first partner Kristofer Mencak won the Scandinavium Kizomba Championship and competed in the Africadançar World Championship, where they got 6th place. Since 2016 she has been teaching internationally with Enah Lebon, "The Prince of UrbanKiz". Teresa also has extensive experience with musicality. For 14 years she studied and performed the violin.
