Utrecht Fusion Dancing Night

If you are familiar with one or more pair dances and like to integrate and/or combine them with music-improvisation, in which you can determine by dance(partner) whether you lead, follow or interchange. Then (in other words) you also like fusion dancing 😃 Dancers of all levels and styles are welcome! The music genre will be varied ranging between styles such as blues, lindy, forró, tango, balfolk and a wide array of music genres to get you dancing. If it interests you, there will be open slots to DJ for future evens. So if you have a nice playlist of music that you would love to dance to now is a great time to try it out! Before the music starts, there will be a general workshop to attend. There are no specifics now but expect something to help you get into the mood or feeling of fusion dancing. Something to explore the improvisational side of your mind and body, as well as some fun exercises play around with. 📅 Schedule: 1845: Doors open 1900 - 2000: General Workshop 2000 - 2300: Music & Dancing 🏡 Location: We get to use the lovely Centrum EMMA for our space. 💸 Price: It is €6 at the door via cash or tikkie. The door price is used for the space rental or other things related to the event. If the amount would keep you from coming then feel free to pay less or none at all. ☕ Refreshments: There will be free water, hot water and tea available.
