V ENCONTRO DIAMANTINO DE IGATU DE 28 DE DEZEMBRO/2017 À 07 DE JANEIRO/2018 Bem se sabe que o diamante é precioso por ser pedra duramente polida, e é dessa imagem que organizamos nossas bagagens para chegarmos em Igatu, cidade histórica no coração da Chapada Diamantina, única pela sua formação geológica de rochedos, rios e garimpos. Nessa paisagem anfitriã, da ponte entre o trabalho humano e a riqueza natural, o convite é de um estudo sinestésico, em uma investigação sensível da experiência humana. O convite é de encontro, trilhas e partilhas, pelos caminhos e descaminhos que um habitat áspero e doce, atravessado pelas águas, nos instiga. Do mesmo modo, para o garimpo do corpo humano, afiamos nossa escuta para práticas somáticas, onde leveza e o tônus se tornam as ferramentas de aprendizagem, conhecimento, responsabilidade e possível transformação. Com o tempo de cada processo, descobre-se um núcleo, matéria ativa, quente e móvel, e também estruturante. E é desse sedimento vivo e afetivo que se extraem os minérios para compormos a massa dançante em experimentação, foco e pesquisa, na esfera individual e coletiva. Essa chamada é feita para aquelxs que pesquisam o infinito de um gesto no espaço, considerando que somos corpos atômicos e anatômicos dentro de uma Terra pulsante, que também orbita com outros corpos celestes. Pois até mesmo os planetas, com sua força e gravidade em contato improvisado, dançam no vácuo todo o balanço de um cosmos, entre o caos e a perfeição. 5 anos de Encontro Diamantino! Para chegar à sua quinta edição, o Encontro Diamantino de Contato Improvisação convoca o compromisso sensível da vida desperta através da dança, do deixar-se dançar pela natureza abundante da Chapada Diamantina e pelos ritmos tão peculiares da vila de Igatu. Mais uma vez, lançamos o convite para a criação coletiva de um espaço de vivência do Contato Improvisação em amplo espectro, buscando integrar as investigações das aulas/labs à dança compartilhada do cotidiano com o grande grupo de participantes, professores e equipe organizadora. Buscamos cada vez mais respeitar a estrutura e as características próprias dos espaços com os quais desejamos dançar em Igatu. Para isso, estamos sempre atentos para escutar os ambientes que nos acolhem e realizar movimento com presença e plenitude. Aqui gesta uma nova vida e um momento cheio de frescor. Muitas idéias, novos espaços e experimentação nos aguardam nesse novo encontro. INVESTIMENTO Quase todos os custos de produção do ED aumentaram consideravelmente neste ano. Tentamos ao máximo não repassar os custos para os participantes e honraremos esse desejo. E para aqueles que "chegarem junto" nas inscrições antecipadas, concederemos um maior desconto. Até Jam! 5th Year of Encontro Diamantino DEC 28th 2017 – JAN 7th 2018 It is well known that diamonds are precious for being hard polished stones, and it is from that image that we pack our bags to arrive in Igatu, historical city in the heart of Chapada Diamantina, unique for its geological formation of rocks, rivers and gold-digging history. In this host landscape, bridging between human labor and natural wealth, the invitation is of a sinesthetic state, in a sensitive investigation of human experience. The invite is to meet, trail and share, through pathways and non-pathways that a rough and sweet habitat, crossed by the waters, instigates on us. In the same way, to dig into the human body, we sharpen our listening through somatic practices, where lightness and tonus become learning tools, knowledge, responsibility and possible transformation. With each process, one discovers a nucleus, active matter, warm and mobile, and also structured. And it is from that alive and affective sediment that we dig out minerals to compose a dancing mass in experiment, focus and research, in an individual and collective sphere. This calling is send out to those who study an infinite gesture in space, considering we are atomic and anatomic bodies inside a pulsating Earth, which in turn also orbits together with other celestial bodies. Because even planets, with their strength and gravity in an improvised contact, dance inside a vacuum all the balance of a cosmos, between chaos and perfection. 5 years! Arriving at its fifth edition, Encontro Diamantino of Contact Improvisation summons the sensitive commitment of awakened life through dance, letting oneself dance for the abundant nature of Chapada Diamantina and the so peculiar rhythms of the village of Igatu. Once again, we have launched an invitation to collectively create a space for Contact Improv experiences in a wide spectrum of ways, aiming to integrate classes / labs investigation into the shared daily dance routine together with a large group of participants, teachers and organizing team. We seek more and more to respect the structure and characteristics of the natural spaces with which we wish to dance in Igatu. Thus, we always set the intention of attentively listening to the environment that welcomes us to carry out movement with presence and mindfulness. Here lives a new life and a moment full of freshness. Many ideas, new spaces and experimentation await us this year. INVESTMENT Almost all ED production costs have increased considerably this year.
