Just announced! A very special Saturday event in historic downtown Vallejo with Nick Rossi's Jazzopaters playing the music of the maestro, Duke Ellington. Come enjoy two hours of Swing Era Ellingtonia performed by this fantastic 9-piece band, the only ensemble of its kind west of the Continental Divide. Ellington played Vallejo in 1942 and the Jazzopaters proudly bring his music back to the Grand Ballroom of the Odd Fellows Hall. Advance tickets are $20 each (plus online processing fees)Tickets are limited and non-refundable, but transferrable. Tickets will also be available at the door, cash or Venmo preferred. Doors at 7 p.m. with music to follow shortly after. Both the bar and the massive wooden dance floor will be open, as well as seating for those who would to just sit and enjoy the music. Step out in your best on Saturday night: vintage or vintage style 1930s-1940s Swing Era attire admired but in no way required!
