VESICA was the catalyst for and co-founded Ecstatic Dance Berlin in 2010, initiating the global spread of the movement. Since then VESICA has been invited to play ecstatic dances far and wide -from Moscow, Barcelona & Ibiza, to Oakland, Nevada City & Los Angeles, to name a few. VESICA is a dancers’ DJ with a love for soulful organic world beats and scrumptious global bass. Founders of Contactyoga.org, they weave together teachings from Zenthai Shiatsu, Partner Yoga, Contact improvisation and primal movement. With 17 years of experience as a movement facilitator, Shannon is devoted to inspiring students to experience their own essence through play, inner strength and nourishment. She is well known for her loving approach to yoga that was developed while living and teaching at Harbin Hot Springs and through her mentorship with Angela Farmer. He's a musician, DJ, producer, and sound therapist with a rich background in sacred music and indigenous knowledge. In 2010, Chaz embarked on a transformative journey through Mexico and Guatemala, exploring ancient Mayan sites and learning from local shamans. This experience deepened his connection to sacred sound and music, leading him to pursue further studies in sacred geometry and indigenous philosophies. Upon his return, Chaz dedicated himself to expanding his healing practices. Currently, Chaz operates at Northwest Sound Healing & Musical Instruments, where he shares his knowledge of musical instruments' history and world. He manages the Purple Lotus Recording Studio, collaborating with artists in medicine music, sound healing, spiritual pop, electronic music, ecstatic dance, and bio-healing frequency music.
