ABOUT THE RETREAT INSTRUCTORS
Dhyana Devi has been in the blissful presence of spiritual masters for most of her life. As a child, Devi spent her formative years at the feet Sri Brahmanda Saraswati at Ananda Ashram in upstate New York. When her guru took Maha Samadhi in the early 90's she was embraced by the arms of Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) and became a devotee.
With over 20 years as a Kirtan leader, she has nourished and honed a passion for mantra, sacred text, and the performance of pujas/homas for the upliftment of all beings. Despite Devi's busy schedule, she makes time to be the music director for a local Santana Dharma class for children and the music coordinator for various satsangs (spiritual gatherings) in New Jersey

Kyrie Christnie fell in love with yoga from the moment she experienced the palpable shift from the constant chattering mind into the sweet sensation of “feeling.” Though she still experiences the “chattering mind”, yoga has given her tools for fulfillment, stillness, and joy.
She loves to laugh and says it’s the best medicine, in addition to yoga and the universal language of music. Kyrie whole-heartedly believes in the transformative effects of yoga, sound and breath exploration. She also loves to express herself through dance and all forms of movement.
Kyrie attended Berklee College of Music, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Music, graduating with honors in 2008.
She received her 200 hour yoga teaching certification from the Prancing Peacock in 2015 and completed a 100 hour certification in Yin yoga in 2016. Following this, she participated in a Restorative Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Soul in Princeton Junction in 2017.
Kyrie has offered musical yoga workshops for adults and children at the beautiful Prancing Peacock studios, as well as taught weekly classes there, the Bensalem school district and in various other settings. She currently teaches a weekly class called Sound Healing Restorative Yoga on Thursday nights at Princeton Integral Yoga Community Center where she uses her voice, crystal bowls and various other instruments, to encourage opening of the heart, body, and connection to one’s feelings.
Kyrie is passionate about the healing power of yoga, music, community, and bringing joy to many different types of people from all cultures and walks of life.
