Vintage Solo Jazz Dance: The Shim Sham

Wednesday, March 6 (5-week session, Weds through April 3) 8:00-9:00 PM Upstairs at BSP, 323 Wall Street, Kingston, NY $60 for 5 weeks, $20 drop in This NEW class series is open to all levels, including beginners. We’ll learn the Shim Sham, a classic swing-era solo jazz routine. While the classes will cover choreography and be cumulative, this is not a performance class. This will be a great introduction to vintage jazz styles, and an opportunity for more advanced dancers to practice expressing personal style! Drops ins are welcome for the first 2 weeks of the session. If you decide to sign up for the full series after dropping in, the balance of $40 is due at the next class.
