(In English below) Kevätkaudella tanssitaan taas aivan valloittavaa kizombaa ja sembaa! 🤗🎶💃🏼🕺🏼🥰 Turvallisessa, hyväksyvässä ja rennossa ilmapiirissä on mukava aikuisenakin oppia uutta. Kizombaan ja sembaan syvällisesti perehtyneet Mirka ja Pekka ovat saaneet paljon kiitosta selkeästä ja helposti ymmärrettävästä opetustyylistä sekä sopivasta etenemistahdista ja erinomaisesta pedagogiikasta. Heidän periaatteensa on, että vaikka opitaan oikeasti, tunnilla ei tarvitse jännittää eikä osata jo valmiiksi, vaan harjoitellaan ja pidetään hauskaa. Tekemällä ja treenaamalla oppii! KIZOMBA: Kizomba on Angolasta lähtöisin oleva paritanssi, jonka ainutlaatuinen pariyhteys on valloittanut ihmisiä ympäri maailman ja sitä voi tanssia kenen kanssa ja minkä ikäisen parin kanssa tahansa. Se on perhetanssi siinä missä vaikka suomalaiset lavatanssit tai kuubalainen salsa. Tanssijoiden ikähaitari on laaja. Kizomballe ominaista on pehmeä, rytmikäs askellus ja siinä tanssitaan paljon suljetussa otteessa parin liikkuessa kuin yhtenä. Kizomba pohjautuu sembaan ja sosiaalitanssina on yleisemmin hieman rauhallisempaa. Käytännössä ne kuitenkin ovat oikeastaan sama tanssi. SEMBA: Ero kizomban ja semban välillä syntyy lähinnä musiikintulkinnasta. Semballe tyypillistä on erilainen iloitteleva ja energinen leikittely tanssissa ja siinä tanssitaan enemmän avoimessa otteessa. Kizombassa ja sembassa ei ole pakollisia askelkuvioita ja alkuun on suhteellisen helppo päästä, mutta opiskeltavaa riittää vuosiksi eteenpäin, kun kipinä näihin lajeihin syttyy. Kizomban ja semban upeus on siinä, että tanssiessa keskitytään täydellisesti jokaiseen askeleeseen parin kanssa ja kaikki muu unohtuu varmasti. Musiikin mukaan meno voi olla rauhallista ja -oikean parin kanssa- jopa romanttista, kun taas vahdikkaammilla biiseillä voi iloitella energisemmin - itse voi valita. Virgula vierailee opettamassa myös muissa kaupungeissa. Tavoitteena on aina mukava ja sujuva sosiaalitanssi, eikä tunneilla tehdä pitkiä kuviosarjoja. Tunneilla on normaali parinvaihto ja opetuksessa huomioidaan niin viejät kuin seuraajatkin. Tullessasi kurssille, et tarvitse välttämättä omaa paria, tunneilla on parinvaihto. Pidämme huolta paritasapainosta ilmoittautumisilla, jotta kaikki pääsevät tasapuolisesti tanssimaan. Kannattaa siis ilmoittautua nopeasti, jotta oma osallistuminen varmistuu ja tanssikaveri saa tiedon paikastaan myös. Jatkamme perustanssin elementtien lisäämistä ja kehitämme tanssillisuutta. Jatko on pidempään tanssineille ja edellyttää myös sosiaalitanssikokemusta. Huomioithan, että ryhmä ei mittaa sinua, vaan kertoo, mihin opetuksessa keskitytään. KIZOMBA: Kizomba is a couple dance originating from Angola. Its unique couple connection has captivated people all over the world and it can be danced with anyone regardless of age the dance partner. It is a family dance as well as Finnish ballroom dances (lavatanssit) or Cuban salsa. The age range of dancers is vast. Kizomba is characterized by soft rhythmic steps. Kizomba is a couple dance that is danced a lot in a closed embrace, with the couple moving as one and it is based on semba. As a social dance kizomba has more commonly lower energy, but practically they are one and the same dance SEMBA: The difference between kizomba and semba arises mainly from the interpretation of the music. Often, there are more playful elements in semba and it's danced more in open position. Virgula also visits to teach in other cities. The goal is always to have a comfortable and smooth social dance, and not to do long patterns in the classes. There is a normal exchange of couples during the lessons, and both leaders and followers are taken into account in the teaching. There are no mandatory step patterns in kizomba and semba, it is relatively easy to get started, and there is enough to learn for years to come once the spark for these dances has been ignited. The charm in kizomba and semba lies in focusing completely on each step with one's partner, and while dancing everything else will disappear, you can bet on it. According to music, dancing can be be peaceful and -with the right partner- romantic even, whereas with faster songs it's possible to let your joy and energy flow, you can choose yourself. When you join our courses you don't need your own partner, there will be couple rotation during classes. We'll take care of the couple balance with registrations, so that everyone can dance in equal amounts. To ensure your participation, we recommend registering as early as possible and also to confirm participation to your dance friends as soon as possible. We'll accept dancers in the order of registration and it's possible to pass the queue registering as a couple. Jatko (Intermediate) is for those who have danced a bit longer and requires also social dancing experience. Please note, that the group doesn't define you, but what the focus on the classes will be. It is always recommendable to focus on solid foundations (by also repeating courses, which many of our students have done). We will adjust the teaching according to the groups.
