Virtual Workshop - Frankie & Chazz Shim Sham!

Another month, another stretch of quarantine - that’s why The Cat’s Meow are calculating some super fun and inspired workshops so that you Cats keep moving and grooving as we all work through this. May is Frankie Manning Month (his birthday is the 26th!), which is very special to us - he was the Ambassador of Lindy Hop, taught thousands how to swing out, exemplified core values in the dance that TCM holds dear, and was a trailblazer for Lindy in unprecedented ways. That’s why we’re going to teach the Frankie & Chazz Shim Sham! While very similar to the Shim Sham you know and love, this routine adds a ton of new rhythms and fun challenges that will add layers to your line dance. This will be donation based - all proceeds will go to both The Frankie Manning Foundation and The Cat’s Meow, in order to pay for All Reet St. Pete 2021! Look out for the Zoom link as we get closer!
