LA FIESTA Special edition celebrating Dominican Independence Day

Bachata Fever Dance is super excited to present a special dance social event to celebrate Dominican Independence Day at La Bodega on Friday 28th February 2025. Drawing inspiration from the parties of the Caribbean, come down and explore some amazing Latin music and delicious food. It is a FREE entry event for social dancing with complimentary Bachata/Merengue dance class. To add more fun and celebrating this special day, we are going to have a Bachata competition with similar process as the local competition in Dominican Republic. It is NOT Jack & Jill style but still partners social dancing to random Bachata music. The competitors will register the competition with their chosen/agreed dance partner well before the event. More details to come for the registration, process, judging, results, and prizes. There will also be special door prizes to be won. Agenda for the night: 7pm -7:45pm: Complimentary Bachata dance class. 7:45pm social starts with best music in town, Bachata, Salsa, Merengue and more. Competition rounds are scheduled between 8:45pm and 10:45pm but within this period, there are long breaks between the competition rounds for everybody to social dance. After short presentation of the trophy, medals and prizes, the dance party continue till late… 😊. Don't miss the opportunity to participate/witness the first Viva La Bachata Cup, its gonna be epic!!!
