The first salsa party at Baracoa Luxe Bar, Leeds in 2013, this January we bring you Viva Salsa "The Great Feeling" Party. Get glammed up and come down for a night filled with dance and music! We start the night at 8.45pm 9pm Absolute Beginners salsa class with Julien (Tropikal Con Salsa) 9pm Intermediates salsa class including ladies styling with our Special Guest Teachers Rasa Pauzaite and Phil Langlais. Followed by a night of great music; salsa, kizomba and more funky latin beats DON'T MISS a performance by our special guest stars Rasa and Phi £8 entry including classes £6 for party night only INFORMATION ABOUT RASA AND PHIL Rasa works with the Incognito Dance Company. PHILLIP AND RASA BIO Phillip Langlais (also known as Salsa Wizard) is one of the UK'S finest Salsa teachers, best known for his fast paced and punishing routines. He is a UKA qualified salsa instructor and professional choreographer and 3 x UK dance champion, no stranger to the performance circuit. Renowned for his cross body technique Phillip is known and respected internationally having taught and performed in countries such as France, Italy, Germany, Mala and Northern Ireland. Rasa is an absolutely amazing dancer with a beautiful, elegant style, which inspires and captivates all that behold her. She has become an exceptionally accomplished dancer/performer and was winner of the 2011 freestyle Salsa and Bachata championships in the UK. Rasa has also gained much experience over the last year as a teacher of both Salsa and Bachata - with a great teaching style that seamlessly blends her passion and enthusiasm for dancing with a fun, friendly, student centered, and accessible approach. Now Phillip and Rasa partnered up to show everybody what they can do together. Their show uses energy, cool and flair. They love what they do and that’s why it translates in their dance and touches people.
