W2 12:00-13:30 *Tango*- Lesson on turns (giros) with planeo and counter-planeo. W3 15:30-16:50 *Vals* - Lesson on musicality in the walk and rhythmic sequences in tango vals. W4 17:00-18:30 *Vals* - Lesson on changes of embrace and rhythmic sequences 19-21h INDIVIDUÁLNÍ LEKCE Nedele 15. března W5 10:30-11:50 *Technique* for emphasizing dissociation, axis, and movement quality. W6 12:00-13:30 *Tango*- Lesson on ganchos, voleos, and soltadas, exploring dynamics and timing W7 15:30-16:50 *Milonga*- Lesson on typical and atypical turns (giros) in milonga. Registrace na: [email protected] LEONARDO FELIX ELIAS Argentine Tango Dancer · Teacher · Choreographer Born in Mar del Plata, Argentina Based in Italy Profile Leonardo Felix Elias is an Argentine tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer with an international career. He combines strong technical training, stage experience, and long-term teaching activity in Argentina, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Training and Early Career He began studying Argentine tango at the age of 17. In 1996, he started teaching tango at the University of Mar del Plata. He worked in several Argentine cities, including Buenos Aires, Rosario, Ushuaia, and Córdoba, performing in theatres, festivals, and milongas, and appearing on television and radio. International Career Since 2003, he has been based in Italy, developing an international artistic career. He has worked as dancer, choreographer, and artistic director in numerous theatre productions and concerts, including shows dedicated to Astor Piazzolla and traditional tango music. He has performed in major festivals and venues in Italy, Europe, the United States, and Argentina, including the Teatro Colón of Mar del Plata. He has collaborated with orchestras, musicians, cultural institutions, universities, and Argentine embassies. He has participated in international festivals in Norway, Spain, the Czech Republic, Germany, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Argentina. Recent Activity Since 2020, he has worked in partnership with Cristina Elias. Together, they have performed in several theatre and concert productions and co-produced Sensorial Tango (Rome, 2024). He is a regular guest teacher and performer at international tango festivals and events. Teaching Leonardo teaches regular tango classes in Rome and conducts workshops and choreographic laboratories worldwide. His teaching focuses on technique, musicality, connection, and improvisation. Additional Activities He is also active as a tango DJ (musicalizador) in Argentina, Europe, and Italy, with a repertoire focused on traditional tango orchestras. He is co-founder of CulturTango – Argentine Cultural Center in Rome and co-founder of Zenith Tango Academy in Catania. Institutional Support Since 2003, his work has been supported by the Argentine Embassy in Italy and by INPROTUR (National Institute for Tourism Promotion).
