Walk for life at The Phoenix Park

Walk for life in association with Dance4Life As a lot of you are already aware we are running the Dance4Life weekend of workshops and parties over the weekend the 18th May. Last year we got great support from you guys and girls and this year we would like to do even better on the money we raised. This year we will raise money for the Irish Cancer Society and for Venezuelan Humanitarian Crisis. The Dance4 Life event will feature many workshops with nearly every local teacher ( countrywide) and with many styles of dance – there will also be two parties and shows. It’s tough, to be honest in Ireland to get loads of people to go to workshops so we on this one occasion have to come up with other ideas to raise money for the event. So we have come up with this – Walk4Life on the 5th May 2019 – and we would like you all to come on the walk with us and end up having lunch ( soup and sandwich). We will start the walk at the Parkgate St Gates of the Phoenix Park and we have engaged the services of top athlete Mr Fintan Lawler ( a well known Dublin bachata artist as well) to map us out a nice level 5km throughout the Phoenix Park course which will end up at “Hole in the Wall Pub” situated also at the east side of the Park wall. So here is all that we want you to do. (1) Please join us on a social walk amongst your friends and fellow dancers and afterwards have some lunch in the Hole in the Wall Pub. (2) The walk will start at midday and we should all arrive in the pub by 13.30pm. (3) Anyone coming on the walk we would like you to take a sponsorship card and see if you can raise a min of €50 (so, for example, ask 10 friends or work colleagues to sponsor you €5 to do the walk for two very worthwhile charities. (4) Here is the great news – anyone coming on the walk who reaches the target of €50 on the sponsorship card ( or more if you can) will receive free on the day a - fantastic set of Mobi Mountain Wireless Bluetooth headphones. This is a really nice incentive to take a card and come on the walk – for the past three years these headphones retailed for €50 on Ryanair ( so it is a significant gift) (5) So all in all we would love you to attend – take a card and try and raise €50 for the charities and go home after a great social day out listening to your favourite salsa or bachata song on your new headphones.
