Walking Talkin' Singing Swinging The Blues

Come join us for an evening of Blues Dance and Music to help initiate the Hayti Heritage Center's project to build a walking/biking trail to connect the Hayti neighborhood with downtown Durham. RDU Blues will provide DJs for open dancing from 6pm-7:30pm. A beginners lesson will follow between 7:30 and 8:30 followed by more social dancing, a Blues Dance Demonstration and a performance by Shugr & Spyce Blues Band at 9:15 and more live Dancing until 10pm. And Hayti is only twelve minutes from the site of the Trilogy Swing event where we're hosting the Blues Room! There's plenty of time to do both on Friday evening! Admission is free, but the Hayti center would like a rough head count in order to have enough food and drink on hand!
