3 days Water Contact Improvisation Intensive Dancing in water is very special experience: sense of gravity disappears and you can move any direction you want. It’s very relaxing, playful and meditative practice which allows you to find completely new way of interaction with water/ interaction with other people in water. In this intensive we will learn how to move effortlessly in water and get fundamental techniques of Water Contact Improv. Each day of this intensive we will spend one hour dancing contact improv in the studio and two hours in the swimming pool. Open for any level of participants including beginners! About Facilitator: IVAN GURIANOV Since he was 18 years old, Ivan was researching movement and dance in multiple forms. For the first time Ivan encountered contact improvisation in 2013, teaching contact improvisation since 2018. He has been teaching Contact Improvisation in Russia, India, Thailand and Indonesia and organising international courses and residencies. Ivan is a passionate practitioner of multiple art forms: music, theatre, butoh, tango and many more, integrating every piece of knowledge into the practice of CI. His unique characteristic is curiosity for self research through direct experience and analytical decomposition of the movement.
