We welcome people of all ages to join us for a night of free form expression to a live dj set. Schedule of events: 6:15 Doors open 6:30- 6:55 Guided warm up, theme: liberation! 6:55 - 7:00 Opening circle 7:00 - 8:30 DJ SET by Wayshower 8:30 - 8:45 Sounding & closing circle ** come and go as you please/ last entry 7:45pm** Wayshower will guide the warm-up to help us liberate our body from old programming that prevents us from moving through our dance (and life) in the way we truly want to. We'll have the opportunity to embody this freedom through our dance wave. Investment: Adults: $15-$40 Sliding scale pay what you can Age 13-17: $5// 12 & under: Free *we keep the dance floor silent to focus on presence, but we welcome you to share your experience in the closing circle. * **The warmup is guided to help center your mind and body into the present moment while exploring playful movements. Feel free to use this as your time, all guidance is a suggestion you are welcome to come in and settle into the space however serves you best.** Is this your first time? WELCOME!!! - Dress comfortably, be sure your attire allows you to move in anyway you want to (even upside down!) - bring a water bottle -dress in layers, we heat up on the dance floor "Ecstatic Dance is a Freeform Conscious Dance. Because this is a safe space for movement and expression, we do request that you follow the three main guidelines: no shoes (and wear comfy clothes), no booze (or any drugs), no talking (body language only).
