WCS Musicality Intensive: Phrasing & Accents

An Intense 4-Week series to strengthen your Musicality for West Coast Swing. In July we will Introduce the Map of Musicality and then focus on Rhythm....including dancing to swing, blues, contemporary, funky, slow; how to dance to the pulse; how to express independent rhythms with your feet, legs, body and patterns, and much more. If there's time we will get started with phrasing and accents too. In future months we will cover phrasing, accents, hitting breaks, dancing to the melody, lyrics, mood, intensity, all the layers of musicality and how to put it together. However, these topics are progressive, so make sure to start in July to be ready for all the great musicality topics coming after. Although not a bootcamp and open to anyone who has completed the MayI WCS Core or equivalent, it is a SPECIAL PROGRAM, so has unique package pricing which includes SOS Dance Party and TGIF Dance Party entry. Nino will be the main instructor for the Intensive below.
