Feel the Force: Galactic Connection in Motion “It’s not just about the steps - it’s about the Force between you.” Join us for a two-hour intergalactic adventure where West Coast Swing meets the wisdom of the Jedi. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to harness the Force - aka connection - to open up new galaxies of creativity between partners. Learn how to modulate your connection (from light-speed to tractor beam) to make space for follower input, improvisation, and cosmic-level musicality. 📆 Date: May 4th 🕕 Time: 1-3pm 📍 Location: The Ballroom 9500 Micron Ave Suite 120, Sacramento 💲Cost: $25 We’ll dive into patterns that naturally rebel against rigid structure and allow followers to rise like true Skywalkers. Whether you're a seasoned Jedi or a Padawan of play, you’ll leave this session with new tools, clearer connection, and a better understanding of the mysterious energy field that binds all dancers together. May the Force - and the flow - be with you. FAQ What does intermediate mean? For everyone to get the best experience in our workshops, the instructors request that you have a solid understanding of the basic WCS patterns and timing. Do I need a partner? No. We rotate everyone in class so you do not have to bring a partner. Can I dance with just one person? If you want to dance with only one partner that is fine, though we have found that students who rotate learn faster. When should I arrive? Please show up 15 minutes early so you can get checked in and we can start on time. We will not allow anyone to join the class more than 15 mins late. How can I learn more West Coast Swing?
