Joanna Meinl has been dancing her heart out since 1990 and hasn’t stopped moving since! With a B.A. in Dance Performance/Choreography & Dance Ethnology, she’s traveled the world as a performer, instructor, choreographer, and competitor. From ballet to kathak, ballroom to West Coast Swing, she’s done it all—winning championships and wowing audiences along the way. She competes at the West Coast Swing Champion level, constantly pushing the limits of creativity and technique. She’s a proud mama, a crafty creator, a nature lover, and the mastermind behind Swing In the South Bay. Whether she’s on the dance floor or off on an adventure, Joanna brings passion, energy, and a whole lot of rhythm! After teaching at the Aloha Open, she is making her way back to Maui offering three progressive workshops for West Coast Swing dancers who have completed one month of level one classes.
