Wednesday Special: Switching in Lindy Hop

Another 5th Wednesday is upon us, and as always we've got something a little out of the box for you. This time, join Jo & Wei for a class ib switching in Lindy Hop. What is switching? Switching is when partners swap between leading and following during a dance, sometimes for a single move, sometimes for whole phrases. It's a playful, conversational way of dancing that opens up new musical and creative possibilities. Prerequisites: You don't need to be fluent in both roles to start, it's totally fine if you're comfortable dancing as leader or follower. Class 1 (19:30-20:30): tools and sequence for switching in social dancing Class 2 (20:45-21:45): specific switch moves, plus playing with your own switch moves Payment in the door: £10 per person for one class £15 per person for both classes on the same night.
