WORKSHOPS for ladies technique, couples and private classes with Antonella Terrazas PROGRAM SATURDAY (individual work) Individual Technique followers and leaders (ALL LEVELS) 13:00-14:20 WS 1- “Connecting technique and musicality” Leg work! Understanding the parts of the feet, legs and hips and how they play the an important role for the beginning of the movement. We will soften our movements and become more precise in time and movement. 14:30-15:50 WS 2- “All about couple connection” Connecting our leg work with the upper body work and how this keeps our connection with our partner in any type of embrace. How can a technique class work on connection without my partner? We will work in pairs from time to time but we will not lead or follow, we will follow concepts that will improve our connection with every partner of each level. 16:00-17:20 WS 3- “Fun embellishments and pre communication to our partner” We will start learning shapes, then we will put it on music and then we will learn how to communicate to our partner. Embellishment is a topic that sometimes teachers and leaders don’t like, but the problem is the disconnection from our partner that we risk at that moment. Also when our partner turns off the “leading” so we have time to do our stuff” for example during a “Parada” in this case the partner stoped the connection… :to give us time” SUNDAY (For couples) Couple techniques and combinations (INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED LEVELS) WS 1- “Building communication” In order to be a proper social dancer we are supposed to be able to dance with everyone, with different level, height, style or taste in the music, so we need to have enough tools to play with that according to our role. We will see different techniques from different style apply to the same figure, what are the best ways to adapt from a technical and non technical point of view. WS 2- “Structures and musicality” How can we play with same structures and adapt them to Tango, Milonga and Vals. Simple figures and complex musicality. WS 3- “Building style” Our tango life is long and we should be open minded to try all of the techniques and styles in order to start building your own. We will work on body types, musical taste and personalities. The movement must come from our own emotional state too otherwise it will look empty. ****************************** Prices: Early bird - 100 ron /person/workshop, untill 15th january.
