Saturday, Feb 25th - Between the Lines: A Study of Transitions A deep look into the middle of the step, the transition between one position and the next one, the trajectory that links one line of movement to another, the intermediate spacetime between one figure and the following one. Laboratory of Movement 4:15pm - 5:45pm Application to Tango Structure and Figures Sunday, Feb 26th - The Line In-Between: The frame of the Embrace A study of the Tango Embrace looking into the horizontal line in-between the couple, constant across styles, that balances the two roles, that holds the relation of the two bodies within the structure of the dance. Exercising comfort and elegance, experimenting its stretch, its possibilities and its limits, we work to create the conditions to integrate the fulcrum between the lead and the follow. ​ 1:00pm - 2:30pm Technique.
