Join us every Monday in November as Ronald teaches us Salsa/Mambo On2 (New York Millennium style). All levels welcome!! MEET THE INSTRUCTOR - Ronald Rios Meet Ronald Rios, a multifaceted dancer, performer, choreographer, and instructor of salsa, bachata, merengue, jazz, hip hop and modern dance styles. He has been a prominent influence to the DMV Latin Dance scene, and has traveled and lived in DC, LA, and NYC, each city adding to his dance expertise. He originally moved from DC to LA to further pursue his dancing goals and appeared in music videos of big names, such as "Flo-Rida, Cassidy and Three-Six Mafia. He went on to become a back up dancer for the 2007 Latin Grammys, and then for Puerto Rican reggeaton sensation Ivy Queen. After moving back to the East Coast, Ronald performed a Latin Jazz piece at the Aerican Dance Theater in NYC, and became a dancer for the halftime show of the New York Knicks, among many other things. Now that he is back in DC, he is now serving as the Artistic Director of the MCPS Latin Dance Competition, run by the After School Dance Fund (ASDF) and is also the new Artist Show Director for the Latin Community awards.
