🌸Hi 🌸 💫Weekly Ecstatic Dances in Downtown Reykjavik are becoming a reality YOOHOO 💫 Every Saturday at 6pm in the beautiful Reykjavik Yoga space we will gather with an intention to move, work, play and experiment with our bodies. Ecstatic Dance is a practice that is, amongst bringing ultimate joy, designed to propel healing and release stagnant, old energies that don't serve us anymore. We will invite you to step into your full, authentic expression and go through a deep emotional process supported by Spirit evoking and diversify in style music. Everything will be held within the safe container of substance-free, completely inclusive and consent honouring space. Intentional opening and closing circles will be held and hosted by loving and sensitive Natascha - trauma informed facilitator experienced in leading Non-Violent Communication and conscious workshops. Ecstatic Dance Community Agreements: To maintain ultimate freedom we agree to the following: 💖 Ecstatic dance is a freeform dance - feel free to dance as you please. 💖 Opening and closing the dance together honours community and creates intention. 💖 Ecstatic dance welcomes you to make sounds on the dance floor. If you wish to engage in conversation, please do so out of the shala. 💖 Ecstatic Dance encourages barefoot dancing (unless a medical condition or flooring prohibits). 💖 Ecstatic dance is a drug and alcohol free event, inviting you to reach your own natural state of ecstasy. 💖 Ecstatic dance is a no phone zone. Please enjoy the space with your senses and not with your video camera. 💖 Ecstatic dance welcomes solo dancers as well as partner dancers. Awareness allows us to respect each other’s space.
