Intention: Welcome Home Whether you've lived here for years or arrived this week, tonight is an invitation to feel at home -- in your body, in movement, and among people who love to dance. As part of Warren Wilson College's Student Orientation, this dance welcomes new students while inviting the greater Asheville dance community to share in the experience. Together, we'll create a space where everyone -- new and returning, student and local -- can connect. Thanks to the collaboration with Wilson Ecstatic Dance, all Warren Wilson Students & Faculty are invited to attend this special event for free. Contributions are still welcomed. About DJ Bob Swoap — Bob crafts journeys that invite dancers to deeply connect: with themselves, others, nature, and the music. He layers genres and world rhythms into an emotionally engaging set. At Warren Wilson College -- where he is professor of psychology and expressive arts therapy -- Bob facilitates ecstatic dance as a part of the community wellness program, bringing a grounded, experienced presence to the floor.
