Friday november 6th Christianshavns Beboerhus will open its doors to welcome new dancers in swingland - a dance party set to the swinging groovy tunes of the swing jazz era. This party is dedicated to all you new dancers who have caught the Lindy Bug and can't get enough - but are new to social dancing. So we thought we would welcome you to a real swingparty! So this party is dedicated to and ONLY for: - Dancers who have been dancing for LESS than a year which includes people who have never tried it but love to dance and want to join us on the dancefloor. Don't know how to dance? No worries! There's an intro class, so you will be able to conquer the dance floor with you new moves. After the intro the dancefloor will be open for dancing for the rest of the evening with fun competitions, challenges and shows - all very easy and fun :) Program for the evening: 19.00: Doors open 19.30: Welcome to the Party 19.45-20.45: Learn the moves 20.45: Social dancing with DJ music 21.30-21.45: Competition 22.30: The Lindy Challenge! 23:00: Snowball 23.00-24.00: Social dancing with Lindy games 24:00: Thank you for tonight - the party continues somewhere else :) The bar next to dancefloor will be open with refreshments, beer and wine if you need a break from the dancefloor.
