Tässä tanssissa parityöskentely on muiden swing-tanssien tapaan suuressa roolissa. Myös seuraajalla on suuri vapaus vaikuttaa yhteisen tanssin luomiseen. West Coast Swingille tyypillistä on rullaava askellus ja parin liikkeestä syntyvä kuminauhamainen elastisuus. West Coast Swingiä voidaan tanssia lähes jokaiseen Spotifyn top-listoilta löytyvään biisiin ja tietysti vanhempiiin blues-klassikoihin. Bootcamp toimii myös hyvänä kertauksena, jos westien tanssimisesta on hetki aikaa! Tältä bootcampilta voit innostuessasi jatkaa myös maanantain alkeiskurssilla. Harjoittelemme mm. seuraavia asioita: 👉 rytmi ja perusaskel 👉 ensimmäiset peruskuviot 👉 viennin ja seuraamisen tekniikkaa westien näkökulmasta 👉 tanssiasento ja askeltekniikkaa Tuntien aikana kaikki vaihtavat paria, jotta pääsemme tanssimaan ja tutustumaan toisiimme. This dance, like other swing dances, is all about connecting. The follower also has a great deal of freedom to influence the creation of the dance together. West Coast Swing is characterised by a rolling stride and the elasticity of the rubber band that comes from the movement of the couple. West Coast Swing can be danced to almost any song on Spotify's top charts and, of course, older blues classics. The bootcamp also serves as a good refresher if you've only been dancing west for a while! From this bootcamp, you can also continue with Monday's beginner course if you're feeling inspired. In this course we will practice the following things: 👉 rhythm and basic step 👉 first basic patterns 👉 lead and follow techniques from WCS perspective 👉 dance position and step technique During the class, everyone will change partners to get to know each other.
