West Coast Swing Beginners (L1) Class

Introducing our newest partner style to the EVE Dance family. West coast swing a popular slotted dance with roots from Lindy Hop, characteristics are the stretch and elastic feel and conservation between the partners improvising to a piece of music on the spot. WCS was created in West Coast and now is taught all over the world, now even in our own dance community. It is dance to a lot of different music genres to from big band to K-Pop. Come along and get hooked to the fun partner style of dance. FAQ What to I wear ? Comfortable clothing that won't restrict movement, shoes will little grip- no high heels or flip flops and no crocs. Do I need a partner ? No partner required - in west coast swing we rotate partners and it is social style of dance and anyone can choose to be a leader or follower, or switch. Cost $20 Is the social class after ? Yes, the class is 45 mins then after class stay to practice what you have learnt and get to know each other. Can't make to our classes ?
