West Coast Swing Beginners Workshop

Hello Happy Dance People Here’s something new to sink your feet into! WEST COAST SWING! Good Vibes & Fearless Dancing are hosting a Beginners Workshop to welcome you to the expressive world of West Coast Swing. This social partner dance is in large part defined by an emphasis on musicality and connection and can be traced to the swing era of jazz. During this period many jazz, blues, and country musicians incorporated swing in their music. These days, West Coast Swing can be danced to almost any music written in 4/4 time. So, you can dance to 80% of everything currently on the radio or on your everyday playlist. BONUS! Jana, of Fearless Dancing (FYI She’s just awesome!) will take you through the basics in this 2 hr workshop for absolute beginners. Then, we’d love for you to join us as we party the night away at the Salsa Addicts Salsa & Bachata Party at the Zoo Lake Bowls Club.
