West Coast Swing Bootcamp I

This is an advanced class for experienced WCS students! APRIL TUESDAYS: April 2 – 30, 2019 FIVE weeks 7:00-8:25PM MAIN INSTRUCTOR: NINO Topics may include: advanced connections, fundamentals like a pro, syncopations, quality of movement, styling, shaping, dynamics, musicality, and much more. REGISTRATION REQUIRES SIGNATURE BY MIHTD INSTRUCTOR MIHTD Boot Camps are unique programs, and if accepted, you will be with other naturally talented and/or experienced students that demonstrate the qualifications below. This is a different experience than the average class since we’ve raised the bar for acceptance into this program. This program for experienced WCS dancers, will focus on making technique, connection, and patterns more advanced. REQUIREMENTS 1. Consistent performance of individual steps, patterns, lead and follow technique from WCS Core I thru V. 2. Correct and consistent timing across very slow and fast songs 3. Good balance & momentum control 4. Proper and effective connection: anchor/resistance, compression & Smooth transitions between patterns 5. Able to attend all dates or make up missed session with private lessons (at an additional cost) 6. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with a “drill-sergeant” teacher. 7. A positive attitude! 8.
