About this Event

Wanting to try something new? Here's your chance to do just that! Learn to dance West Coast Swing with us, no partner required! You can learn the first five moves and some variations with our rolling four week Foundation Course. As our course repeats, you can come along any week. You'll simply catch any missed weeks the next time around. Beginners, Level 1 will learn: -the rhythm of the dance through the footwork -how to connect with your partner through lead and follow. - the five patterns from which everything else grows. Improvers, Level 2/3 While expanding repertoire this class will focus on: - partnership, - rhythm, - musicality - styling. It is recommended that you have completed the Foundations course first to attend this class. What do our students say about us? Social On the first night, you can join our WhatsApp group which is where we'll chat all things WCS: - post events to attend - inspirational videos of the top pros across the world. - extra practice videos - Who: Anyone interested in dance. - When: Thursday, 7.30pm - 10.00pm - Where: School Green Centre, Ryish Green studio, Shinfield, Reading, RG2 9EH - Price: £10 (£6 students) Pay on the door cash or card. - By car: We are 7 mins drive from Junction 10 on the M4 with plenty of free parking at the front and behind the centre.
