West Coast Swing Class Night

Have you been thinking about trying something new? Here's your chance to do just that! Come and dance West Coast Swing with us, no partner required! You can learn five cool moves and some variations with our Four Week Foundation Course. Beginners, Level 1 will learn: -the rhythm of the dance through the footwork; we'll include fun solo warm ups to help you get your feet travelling smoothly. -how to connect with your partner and begin to understand the idea of lead and follow. - the five patterns from which everything else grows. Don't worry if you can't make week one, come along the following week and you can catch week one next time around. Improvers, Level 2/3 This will contain closer focus on the various elements of the dance while expanding repertoire: partnership, rhythm, musicality and styling. It is recommended that you have completed the Foundations course first to attend this class. What do our students say about us? Social On the first night, you can join our WhatsApp group which is where we'll chat all things WCS, post events to attend and inspirational videos of the top pros across the world. Schedule: - 7.30pm Doors open and music on for warm up and practise. - 7.45pm Beginners, Level 1 class - 8.30pm Social dancing - 8.40pm Improvers, Level 2/3 'Elements' class - 9.30pm Social dancing -10.00pm Close Location: - A modern studio with a sprung floor. We are in Ryeish Green Studio the first one by reception as you enter the building. - By car: School Green Centre in Shinfield 7 mins drive from Junction 10 on the M4. There is plenty of free parking at the front and behind the centre.
