West Coast Swing & Hustle Contest Weekend

Full weekend of dance parties, and some Jack and Jill and Strictly competitions for extra fun and excitement. FRIDAY: at TGIF Dance Parties 8pm: Dance Lessons 9pm: Open Dancing to mix of Ballroom, Salsa, Latin, Swing, Tango, Country Contest: West Coast Swing Jack n Jill $20 lesson & party entry $5 per person competition entry SATURDAY at Chicago Rebels Dance 7:30-9pm: Dance Lessons 9pm: Open Dancing to WCS & Hustle Contest: Hustle Jack n Jill & West Coast Swing Strictly $20 lesson & party entry $5 per person each competition entry SUNDAY at SOS: Swing on Sunday 6pm: Dance Lessons 7-9:30pm: Open Dancing to mix of WCS, Hustle, and a touch of country. Contest: Crossover (both Hustle and WCS) Strictly $20 lesson & party entry $10 per person couple Friday and Sunday events are at: May I Have This Dance 5941 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago IL 60646 Saturday events are at: Centre at North Park, 10040 W Addison Ave, Franklin Park, IL 1st Place Winners will split the pot and get cash! 1st thru 3rd place winners will also get lots of free party entries. FINE PRINT: Contests will be capped at the first 20 leaders/followers/couples to register. Must sign up for Friday or Saturday contests at the door by 9:15pm on the day of the contest. For Sunday, by 7:15pm. Contests open to any level dancers, however Professional instructors and all-star competitors not allowed. You're considered professional if you teach WCS or Hustle group lessons or privates on a regular basis. For Jack n Jill you register by yourself. You'll get randomly paired with a partner and compete as a pair. For Strictly WCS and Strictly Crossover, you enter with a partner of your choosing and will compete against other couples.
