West Coast Swing with Ben Morris @Avec

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from one of the world’s top West Coast Swing dancers, known for his exceptional musicality and style! This year, the Ben Morris Workshops will focus on a highly anticipated topic: The Swing in West Coast Swing. This theme explores how to find the groove in different types of songs and how to dance exactly to the music being played, without ever forgetting the roots of where West Coast Swing comes from. This workshop will undoubtedly help you survive and truly enjoy dancing to blues, swing, and jazz tracks, whether you are social dancing or hitting the competition floor. WEDNESDAY 16.9. Three different levels – Blue, Red, Red-Black Schedule: • 17:00–18:25 (Blue🔵) • 18:35–20:00 (Red🔴) • 20:10–21:35 (Red-Black 🔴⚫) Price: 44 €/person/class, or 39 €/person/class if enrolled with a partner. LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 🔵Blue: Solid basics required – you should already feel comfortable with WCS fundamentals so you can focus on the music. Recommended for dancers with at least 1 year of experience. 🔴Red: Basic patterns and their variations feel easy to dance, you’re already adding styling, and you can play with rhythm – for example, shortening or extending patterns.
