West Coast Swing Workshop!

This intensive is a great way to freshen up your technique and connection while learning some new moves at the same time. Commit to just 2-3 HOURS and learn the same amount of material you'd learn during a whole MONTH of regular group classes! 2:00 PM IT’S THE WAY THAT YOU DO IT – Learn the foundation patterns of the dance while also learning the correct way to lead/follow and connect at the same time. BEGINNER 3:00 PM SHOWY PATTERNS – Awesome patterns that can get EVERYONE’S attention and you can dance with ANYONE. BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE 4:00 PM Choreography - Learn how to put cool patterns together with great musicality. This class will introduce 30-45 seconds of choreography to encompass Timing, Technique, Connection, Musicality, and Creativity. Use the material from this class to impress your friends, put yourself on youtube, or become a part of the NEW Performance team I’m forming! More info to follow…there will be a meeting after this class to discuss the team! INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED 5:00 PM “TEAM MEETING” - A chance for me to give you more information about the team and for you to ask questions! There is no fee for the meeting but you must attend the choreography class at 4 PM if you’re interested. About Chrissy:Winner of multiple national championships, including her second Canadian Swing Championship in May, Chrissy Bridgeman has been teaching and competing around the world for over 14 years. Known for bringing innovative ideas to traditional techniques and sharing them with the dance community, Chrissy has had the honor of performing and teaching at many exciting events and venues including: Walt Disney World, Superbowl XXXV, and Hard Rock Live. In addition to performing private shows for a variety of corporate conventions and fundraisers, she has also choreographed and appeared in film and theater for Hard Rock Lives' Oscar Night America, American Heartland Theaters production of SWING! and the University of MO-KC. Most importantly, Chrissy focuses on making sure everyone learns and has a great time.
