West Coast Swing Workshop Day with Andrew Shellard

** 100% WCS DAY ** Join us on this full day of dancing, from beginner level to advance level, this day will be focusing on everything you need to learn or improve your West Coast Swing skills. Guest International Teacher: Andrew Shellard About him: Andrew Shellard emerged onto the west coast swing scene in 2011. At the tender age of 16 Andrew already had 6 years dance experience behind him including the French rock n’ roll champion title in 2009. Andrew’s competitive career in west coast swing has seen him bring 7 classic routines to the floor, 3 junior and 4 adult. He placed 5th in the NASDE classic division at Liberty Swing in 2015. He currently competes in the All-Star division and placed 1st in this division at the Uk and European WCS Championships in April 2018. In 2013 Andrew got his first International teaching contract in Israel and from there he went on to teach in Italy, Germany, Holland, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Latvia, England, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. It was the small friendly community of Northern Ireland however that Andrew really felt drawn to. In July 2016 Andrew made the move to Belfast with a goal to help develop and grow the west coast swing community there. Schedule: 1pm - 2pm: Level 1/2 = Learn and improve your basic technique. 2pm - 3pm: Level 1/2 = Smart variations for basique patterns. 3:30pm - 4:30pm: Level 2/3 = Whip and more. 4:30pm - 5:30pm: Level 2/3 = Make it look good. 7pm - 8pm: Coaching Class (must book as a couple) 8pm - 9pm: All Level Workshop 9pm - 1am: PARTYYYYYY ! Description of the levels: Level 1/2: Open to total beginners and to people who want to improve in their basic technique and patterns. Level 2/3: Open to people confortable with West Coast Swing basics (including whip, and free spins). Coaching class: All Level, MUST be booked with a partner. LIMITED AVAILABILITY.
