West Philly Swingers Fall 2022 Auditions!

Are you ready to kick off the semester with a fantastic family of friends? Then come right down to West Philly Swingers' Fall Auditions! 💃🕺 NO EXPERIENCE OR PARTNER REQUIRED 💃🕺 We'll give you a lesson on everything you need to know. We'll even have some of our alumni come back to help us teach you and share their experiences with you! 💃🕺 DETAILS 💃🕺 Join us on September 3rd at 10:00 am for a great time! Auditions will be in person at EmSachs! It is located on the fourth floor at Irvine Auditorium. (We will be posting signs throughout Irvine to direct you there!) Click GOING to our event to get notified about updates 🙂 *** This lesson will be on the fundamentals of the Lindy Hop, a partnered dance originating out of the African American community in 1920s Harlem with the rise of swing/jazz music. Nowadays, it can be found worldwide, with particularly vibrant communities in places like Sweden, South Korea, and of course, the USA. Characterized by a lively bounce in step and rampant improvisation in every dance, there isn't a better way to get your cardio in!
