Westie Swing Saturday - Aug 24 [End of Summer Dance!]

Hey Everyone! Come join us for our Aug dance and celebrate the end of summer! This month, we're dancing OUTSIDE at a very cool summer-y bar-restaurant in Riverside Park. Let's finish the summer with a cool night of Summer-Swing! :-) LOCATION DETAILS *Ellington in the Park* Riverside Drive, between W 103rd & 105th St New York, NY 10025 https://goo.gl/maps/idg4yHhqTWGm8uQc8 NOTE: There is also another Ellington restaurant on Amsterdam, so make sure you use the address above and come to the correct one on Riverside Drive. *Walk into Riverside Park towards the Hudson River. The restaurant/bar is located between 103rd and 105th, inside the park. There are 2 levels, we will be on the bottom level. Also, since it's outside make sure to wear shoes with smooth surface, Toms, Toms-like shoes suitable for outdoor dancing, not your suede dance shoes. Here's the plan: 6p Meet for drinks (they serve food as well) 630p/7p FREE LESSON: Intro to West Coast Swing (or adv beginner, depending on level): Invite your friends to come have fun with us, grab a drink, dance, and learn some WCS basics. 730p Dance party with DJs Marlon and Jes Ann! Admission $10 (Cash, Venmo, or PayPal) Finding social dance bars/locations that are open to us dancing is not easy, so we're happy to find this space for your dancing pleasure.
