Where Are You Going: Improvisational Contact Dance Workshop

This extended weekend Contact Improvisational Dance Workshop delves into our directive impulses. Where are they coming from, why are they coming, where are they leading us, how are we following them, who is guiding us in relation, why, how, what are we doing to resolve our situation(s), etc. It starts 4pm arrival at PURR (Prancing Unicorn Resort & Recreation, 741 SE Craig Rd, Kamilche, Washington, USA, near Olympia/Shelton) setup, situate & settle. Workshop begins promptly at 7p-9p Friday evening March 3rd. Saturday & Sunday go from 11a-4p, ending 6p Sunday March 5th departure after cleanup. Friday we begin exploring who we are as ourselves in dance, just settling in & grounding lightly, getting to know each other, the space, ourselves, running our gauntlet of leafing through whatever's there & getting to our core simply, easily for our couple hours. Saturday & Sunday more specifically call in potentially loving & more intense situations whereby we can move through our blocks &/or sticky mess if present to easily uncover more breathable flowing raw space, internally & externally, no difference. This will be tightly guided as needed to hold gentle safe space for potential healthy inner/outer movement, a space to unfold/unravel naturally who we are in this world in relation to... Cost is $160-$180 usd & includes heated upper lodge 2nd story portion always open sufficiently grand dance wood floor space, kitchen space, shower(s), hot tub?, grounds, communal sleeping space, bathroom. Bring all your own sleeping gear & food as it's indoor camping, self sufficient, & take out what you bring. Can set up tent in space if wish or not. Can camp outside on grounds if want/need more processing privacy. Also if enough interest in more indoor sleeping privacy, can rent partitioned downstairs portion of lodge as well if includes enough committed people to collectively pay for that, lmk if of interest, ($500 for expanding into that space, ie, if 10 people absolutely want that, then whatever math dictates individually split & so on).
