Award-winning electro swing purveyors White Mink hot foot it to Bristol once again with their zeitgeist-capturing speakeasy where the sounds and styles of the 20s and 30s are turned on their head and smuggled into the 21st century. This decadent party extravaganza brings a cocktail of live bands, walkabout, DJs, dancers and projections to the Spiegeltent for what will be one hell of an opening bash! There are no rules but dressing up is de rigueur. LINE UP: Get ready to show your appreciation for… Flash Mob Jazz - The UK's premier all singing, all swinging, heart of the party band with stunning three part harmonies, scorching horns and a rip-roaring rhythm section. Rodney & Alexandra – Harking back to the magical cabaret of 1930s Berlin, expect sexy, funny and beautifully strange characters, unique world class juggling and manipulation with tricks that will leave you stunned and asking “Did I really just see that?” Swing Zazou – Gypsy Swing, 30’s and 40’s big band sounds and live-mixed beats collide to create a foot-stomping recipe of soaring hot-swingin’ licks, driving swing-scat vocals and vintage harmonies. Abagail Nénuphar Circus Artist – Unfurling displays of colour and operatic intensity, her daredevil circus acts are served with balletic elegance and sensuality. Ophelia Bitz – Bristol's own saucy but bad-ass vocalist, ring-mistress, compere and performance artist. Swing Dance Bristol's Lindy Hop Dancers – Bristol's pioneers of the Swing scene show us how to lindy, jive and boogie the night away.
