LEIPZIG WORKSHOP & JAMMIX
FEBRUARY 22 - 23
WILD ENERGY:
connecting with our natural vitality
through Contact Impro, Tai Chi & Tango
“Our bodies, so much the stuff of the world, so sensitive to our inner images, are more changeable than we think, more fluid, more spiritual, more infused with light than we guess.”
J.P.Conger: “The body as shadow”
Our hyper-rational live has developed at the expense
of our primitive natural vitality, splitting mind and body.
As we explore ourselves through movement, conscious touch, somatic awareness, physical relations and imagery, we can reveal our physical limits (pains, chronic tensions, symptoms), but also our possibilities: the seeds of our healing and growth that lie in the connection with our physical emotional body.
The mix of Contact improvisation, Tango and Tai Chi elements, offer a variety of sensing and relating possibilities, besides an immense richness of movement.
The mix of Contact improvisation, Tango and Tai Chi elements, offer a variety of sensing and relating possibilities, besides an immense richness of movement.
This mix will expand the sensorial perception of ourself and others, allowing our creativity to emerge from a playfully and sensorial grounding. The connection through our bodies can become the jumping off place into higher emotional and spiritual realms.
This open combination, boundless of a given style, developed in a playful environment, provides the possibility to deepen the understanding of ourselves and our physical, emotional relation with society and Nature.
