Certified through Broadway Dance Center’s rigorous training program in NYC with a concentration in ballet, and additionally certified in 9 American style competitive ballroom dances, dances in the Afro-Latin genre are his specialty and main focus with extensive training and experience in Salsa, Bachata, Dancesport Cabaret (Lifts, Dips, and Tricks), Brazilian Zouk, and Kizomba. Marc has also been honored to judge international Afro Latin Dance Competitions including the Olympiads of Kizomba, Sydney Latin Dance Festival Competition, and the Dia Internacional de la Bachata Competition in Monterrey, Mexico. ROSE TURUKA Turuka originates from Zanzibar, Tanzania but currently resides in Michigan. Her passion and love for dance is undeniable! With Afrobeats at the core, she has explored and continued to learn various dance styles such as Kizomba, Salsa, Bachata, Brazilian Zouk, Swing and the list goes on. She has learned from instructors all over the world and continues to evolve as a dancer and teacher. She has now been teaching in Michigan for almost four years and continues to discover different ways to be a better dancer and guide to others.
