Willy's Pop Up Dance Hall: Swing Evening

Together with Swing Dance Palestine we are looking forward to present our next Swing Evening on Tuesday, January 28th, at 7pm at the Willy Brandt Center. What is Swing dancing? Swing was a popular dance from the 1920s to 1950s, and it saw a huge revival over the last 2 decades all over the world, because the dance is great fun and swing music gives you lots of positive energy and makes you meet people from all over the world. Swing includes a range of vintage dances, such as Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa and more. We are looking forward to welcome back at our center our wonderful friends from Swing Dance Palestine. The group was established in May 2014 by a small group of dedicated Palestinian dancers and a Swing dancer from Germany as their teacher. Over the years the group has grown and now also has groups in Bethlehem and Ramallah offering classes for regular dancers as well as beginners. They warned us: Swing dancing easily becomes an addiction and they love to steadily increase the group of addicts of this insanely fun dance! :) So join us on January 28th to learn together some new steps and then... swing swing swing!!
