Start off your summer off with a fun and sexy weekend of dance and entertainment at Winnipeg International Salsa Congress presented by Culture Card, SALSA EXPLOSION DANCE COMPANY, LM Event & Image Productions Inc. We have prepared three full days of dancing for you including workshops from the best salsa, bachata, chachacha and kizomba instructors and performers from world champions and top dancers such as – Jefferson & Adrianita (Columbia), Ernesto & Denisse (New York), Ernesto Lopez (Mexico), Mario Acosta-Cevallos (Edmonton), Ana Lopez (Winnipeg, Jorge & Maria (Mexico), Alex & Desiree (New Jersey), Java & Yara (Toronto) and Harold Rancano & Regan Hirose (Winnipeg) - and the best latin DJs to keep you moving all weekend long. The entire event is taking place at Delta Hotels by Marriott Winnipeg. We are proud to offer over 20 workshops in 2 ballrooms on Saturday and Sunday! Come learn and perfect your dancing, or just show off to your friends in classes ranging from beginner to intermediate. Not into dance class? That’s okay because we have 3 amazing theme nights planned full of performers and social dancing that will have you going until the sun comes up! Friday: Winnipeg Whiteout! Our opening will introduce you to our local, national and international performers and keep you dancing until 3 AM with our world class Latin DJs! Saturday: Gala Evening Come out early for dance workshops, and dress to impress later in the evening for the events in the main ballroom. Make sure to smile for the cameras! Sunday: Sharp and Chic One last night of fantastic performances! Come out for the all night dance party, or just take in the dance workshops if you work Monday morning.
