Winter Course: Salsa Footwork

Are you comfortable with your salsa basics but want to level up your shine game? This Salsa Footwork class will challenge your coordination, timing, and musical understanding — all with a special focus on the percussion instruments that drive the music! 🥁✨ Just like last year, we’ll explore how instruments like the conga, cowbell, and clave shape the rhythm — and yes, I’ll be bringing instruments again so we can both hear and feel the music in a more hands-on way. This time, the footwork combinations will be more advanced, pushing you to move with greater precision and control. We’ll also introduce some foundational body movement technique to help you move more fluidly and expressively, so your footwork doesn’t just look sharp — it feels natural and grounded in the music. This class is for you if you’ve danced some salsa before and want to challenge yourself, improve your musicality, and add more flavor and confidence to your solo dancing.
